I was inspired by a couple Rod and I met while waiting to board the channel tunnel. They had ridden six countries in six days and while deciding where to go this year, Rod reckoned we could outdo them and ride through twelve countries in nine days...

This was as close as they would let us get to Spa as there was a race on so Rod had a fag.
